if nintendo releases yet another handheld (pretty sure they will), how could the game chip get any smaller?? the ds games are like smaller than sd cards!! wut do u think? will it come to the point where u just pay for the game and u just download it into the system??
they could just stay the same size, or just get to be about the size of an SD card.
I wouldn't be surprised if we have to download the games eventually, but they will probably just stay the same as the DS cards.
SD cars are actually quite a bit smaller and thinner than DS game cards, so I wouldn't be surprised if the game cards got to that size. Or, maybe Nintendo will switch to discs of some sort.
Well, a new DS is being released. Thinner, with a larger screen. No GBA port, but it has memory!

Yeah, I read about that. I don't think it is true, but who knows?

The volume of an DS game is roughly 3-4 times the volume of an SD card, not to mention that SD currently can hold over 16 times as much data.
DS cards used to seem to only hold 128MB, but a few months ago, I think a 256MB game was announced. I know that there are 4GB SD cards (1GB=1024MB). Also, Mini SD and Micro SD cards can hold like 2GB and are WAY smaller.
The 256MB DS game is Archaic Sealed Heat (ASH)
