The Egyptians have shaped my opinion on the Egyptians. They are an ancient empire, dating back to circa 4000 B.C. They built the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx (sp?), the Great Lighthouse, and numberous other marvels of engineering (such as obelisks and the basis for crappy children's card games) They left records in heiroglyps, and wrote on papyrus paper.
