I'm sure we've all seen that one before.

this week in English, we had to make "Journal entries" based on a paper the teacher gave us to write on.

Question:

Talk about and describe an individual or a group of people who has shaped either your opinion or the perception about something.

Written by our student teacher.

So, on Monday, I'm handing in this:

The Egyptians have shaped my opinion on the Egyptians.  They are an ancient empire, dating back to circa 4000 B.C.  They built the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx (sp?), the Great Lighthouse, and numberous other marvels of engineering (such as obelisks and the basis for crappy children's card games)  They left records in heiroglyps, and wrote on papyrus paper.  They charted the skies, discovering many star formations.  At it's peak, the Egyptian Empire ruled the North-East chunk of Africa, and some of the Middle-East.  Some of their rulers were...
