Which do I get for Christmas?
Computer, it can play music (iPod), games (360), and much more.
If you already have a computer, get the 360.
Unless the computer you are on is ****, get a 360.
It depends. What type of computer do you have? If it's decent, get the 360.

If you don't have an MP3 player, iPod
If you don't have a Wii or are in need of some good FPS's, 360

**Off-topic question**
Would Ubuntu work on a PlayStation 3?

No. They've discontinued PPC support. The PPC version of Fedora 7 runs with zero problem, though. Better get it while you can, Fedora 8 comes out in four days and there's no guarantee it'll work on the PS3 (although I believe that was a goal for the PPC version).
