The world I mean. Running out of oil, nuclear war, Gozer the Destructor, sun exploding, universe expanding. We can't survive forever and ever and ever. Maybe we can evolve to adapt.

but really, if Armageddon doesn't happen in a few billion years, the Sun will shed its outer layer and expand into a red giant, swallowing up most of the inner planets including Earth.
