Title: Games off the beaten path
Post by: Kita on November 14, 2007, 07:39:16 AM
Wow I'm bored and looking through Amazon.com for a new DS game.  I want something that is different and not well known.

Here is a list of games that I wouldn't get, but make me think OMG what is WRONG WITH YOU NINTENDO o_O

Imagine: Babyz (http://"http://ds.ign.com/objects/945/945395.html")
Petz: Hamsterz Life 2 (http://"http://ds.ign.com/objects/952/952280.html")
Paby Pals (http://"http://ds.ign.com/objects/564/5647290.html")
Flipper Critters (http://"http://ds.ign.com/objects/762/762866.html")
Holly Hobbie & Friends (http://"http://ds.ign.com/objects/887/887031.html")

These are just a few I picked.  Then it's Petz this and Petz that.  Even the name with the Z's is getting annoying.  Do they think they are getting into the "cool" Internet lingo or something.  GET REAL! What is all this CRAP! Seriously! Is anyone else disturbed by the crap games that are being put out? Some of these have yet to be released even.  What are these developers thinking o_O

Yeah? Well I've played Captain Novolin. Learning about diabetes has never been so much fun.

Little-known SNES game that was made to teach kids about diabetes. It featured such amazing events as matching colors together and jumping over donuts.

Now that's just odd... The DS has a LOT of teaching games now too.  I bet that if you added up all the games that are for like 10 and under and then added up the games that the actaul gamers like there would be a LOT more of the stupid junk games. -_-

Well, Earthbound is weird, but it CERTAINLY wouldn't fall under "Not going to get it."

I mean, IT'S THE BEST GAME EVER! But it's completely trippy and in most respects, RANDOM!

Na that doesn't fall in the catagory of off the beaten path because it is a movie game.  People have at least heard of it.

I don't get why they'd waste their money on a game that 10 people are ever going to buy.

Etrian Odyssey.  I bet I'm the only person on this forum that owns it, let alone has heard of it.
