Why was everyone complaining about Twilight Princess ruining the lore? I recently beat it(yes i know months behind) and dont see how it would ruin the Zelda series. :-\
I know. :-\
I thought it was awesome.
Yet people keep looking at the bad stuff.
What can i say, they're all complainers.
I thought the game was awesome, although Zelda didn't play too much of a part in it.
Sure, it was a fairly large change to the series, but they were in no way hindrances to the awesomeness. They were great innovations, and the graphics were lovely for a GCN game, and great for Wii. The only problem I have with it is the simplicity of the bosses. There are enough sidequests, they take some time, too. Hell, I'm still missing 12 Poes. The hearts took me a while to find (two days to find them all), and the bugs a few hours. The secret caverns are fun, too.
All in all, this was an amazing game. People who whine about it need to stop looking at the few faults and look at the uncountable pluses to the game. Nothing can be perfect.
Isn't it ironic that your criticizing us for looking at the bad points, but you are only looking at the good points and not bringing up any bad points?
Many fans thought it was to easy.

So? It isn't very fun if it's so hard you want to throw the controller at the screen. Plus, you're really only saying it's too easy CONPARAITVLY. If it was one of the first Legend of Zelda's, everyone would be like, "OMGZ! I don't know what to do!" like NEW PLAYERS!!!!!!

Yes but the puzzles in TP were EASY even if the other games existed, the characters told you what to do and how to do it, they even highlitghted it to make it easier! That is why I still play my GBC I want a real challenge!
I liked it...but *Spoilers* the last bosses 2nd form didn't please me. It just felt...different.

Well it stayed true to what he turns into.

um, you wouldn't think if you saw a rock sticking out of the ground to bomb it, would you?
you wouldn't really think to hit the crystal switches with your items, would you?
These were explained in OoT, but left to figure out in TP. Plus, that there WERE hard puzzles, you twit. What was whole Frecken LAKEBED? It's also kinda cheap difficulty to just not tell the player what to do next. To a certain extent, it's okay, but after finishing a dungeon without ANY pointers isn't fun. OoT and ALTTP's attutude was, ""I can't think of any good puzzles outside the dungeons,, so for difficulty, I'm going to laugh in your face for not noing what to do, Even though there is NO way to KNOW what to DO next!" all you do is stuble around intill you find something. This isn't diffcult. This isn't figuring anything out. This is mindless POKING. Plus, wasn't Majora's Mask tell you where to go and when to do it? Lo and behold, it's harder than all the others.
This game is great.
I don't care how easy it was, it was still really fun to play,
They should have made the second half of the game longer though....

Second half LONGER? how can one half be longer than the other half?
OHHHH . . . okay, you mean after you get the Master Sword?
It was a Great Game i liked it more than Wind Waker, But the Bosses were a bit to easy
I liked the game. Many people said it was too much like OoT, but that's what I liked about it. OoT was the #1 game in the NP Awards.
It was a good game, but it was too easy, and the bosses were disappointing, The twilight world people had so much potential...
My quarrels with the game include it's relative relation, or to be more accurate lack there of, to Ocarina of Time after being stating numerous times to the contrary, it's focus on traditional elements to the point of overshadowing new elements while at the same time failing to really connect those traditions, and lastly the lack of depth in most of the cast of the game.
To be blunt I felt like it was a game that played upon to many worn Zelda formulas without integrating them and failed to really create a world that was teaming with life that really was a part of the story. Oh, and that's not OoT 100 years later. Sorry, it's just too different. Maybe they moved north. I don't know. I really wouldn't have cared if Auonuma hadn't gone out and told us point blank that it was. Don't say what you can't back up. I'm really tired of having to have these games to explained to me in press conferences. If you can't explain it WITH the game there's your problem right there.

Honestly though, most Zelda games are too easy anyway, so that shouldn't be an issue with just this one game.
Twilight Princess, in my honest opinion, was considerably more dull than it could have been, but it was a good game overall. I'm not exactly a fan of the character design, bosses, some of the new tools (dominion rod SUCKS BALLS DFLKJ;ALKSDJF), and the weird unnatural brown-yellow lighting.
A lackluster but still enjoyable addition to a series plagued by repetitiveness.

duh. :P
the first three area's in the game took the majority of the quest.
Especially with the twilight realm quests.
