In a city nearby where I live, they made internet harassment illegal. They made it illegal because a girl killed herself because someone posted offensive comments on her MySpace.
(BTW, this doesn't apply to the city I'm in. :robotveryhappy: )
Did I mention they're blaming it all on the site and want to make flaming a federal crime? ::)

Heard about that on international news. I believe the mom had a part to play in it.
I saw a special about that on VH1 or E! or something like that. It was a series of things though about why the internet is bad.

Because they obviously have the manpower to check the entire internet every day for offencive comments, and trace all of them to see if they come from that city. I mean why make the law if they're no hope of enforcing it?

How can they do that? The school has no control over what you do at home, and that defies free speech. You should talk to your principal about this or have your parents do so.
