Title: Gamecube The next Legacy System?
Post by: RedYoshi on November 23, 2007, 01:56:52 PM
The next Legacy system has to be gamecube. I mean, N64 has been a legacy system for quite a while now. The Gamecube has been here for a long time as well, and to some it's like the N64 was about 5 or 6 years ago.

The Gamecube was a giant leap for Nintendo and a lot of people are still playing it today and probably always will.

I bet as soon as they stop making new Gamecube games they will already start appearing on the VC.

for all accounts and purposes the GCN is legacy the last game for it (that power rangers game) came out a week or so ago, and no more games for it are announced, on top of that Nintendo doesn't manufacture GCN units anymore.

and as for the VC, that ain't gonna happen due to the fact that GCN games are easy to find, and because the Wii has little memory and mostly because GCN games work on the Wii.

They might put them on the VC if they stop selling GCN games and so people could play the ones that they never bought. Sounded like a good idea to me. Oh and By the way I'm talking about in maybe 7 or 8 years so calm down.

You couldn't fit a GCN game on 4 wii's. Probably even more./

Being that they were talking about things 7 or 8 years later, there would be a new "Wii" out. That system might have enough memory.

Blah, I think Gamecube was prolly the 2nd worst Nintendo system ever. It doesn't deserve to be a legacy system.

If I recall correctly, the Virtual Boy is also a Legacy System. If the Virtual Boy can do it, the Gamecube can.
