Must-Have DS game?

I'm putting together a christmas list right now, a'ight? Anyways I'm going through the DS master game list and so far nothing has really jumped out at me. I do know that Pheonix wright's a series I've yet to touch, has a very strong following, and got me mildly interested, but dunno if that's right for my. I'm usually playing action-adventures, RPGs, or platformers. (with a few fighting games, but I've yet to find a fighter or FPS on a portable system I truly like).

Bonus question: Snowboard Kids DS was supposedly released in 2005 but I've yet to see it anywhere. can anyone confirm or deny it's release?

Phoenix Wright isn't really an action-adventure game per se, but it's story-driven action.

Mario Kart DS
Pokemon Diamond
StarFox Command
Mario Hoops 3-on-3
New Super Mario Bros.
Metroid Prime Hunters

These are just the ones that I have. Mario Party DS will be really fun if you have someone to play with. :)

Need for Speed: Pro Street

Don't underestimate this game, it has stunning graphics (for a DS), great gameplay and career mode. It even has online play! I just completed it, it's a blast ;)
