If you guys want real rock, you should check out Pink Floyd. Dark Side of the Moon will change your lives.

Floyd is not a good way to expose modern rock fans to classics, Floyd is pretty deep and psychadelic.

You build bridges. Get a modern music person into the grunge era of the early ninties and older alternative, then that'll move 'em on to hard rock and onward from there.
