Please explain. There are many valid reasons to say Microsoft sucks, but just calling them 'whores' makes you look like a moron.

So does Apple (they're even worse), and so does any large company.  That's their goal, make money

some companies are worse than others, like for Xbox live, why the hell do i have to pay to use the Internet, and for windows, why would i spend so much money on an OS that doesnt work

because Xbox live works very well.  As for Windows, I'm running Windows XP on my 4 year old laptop.  It's lighting fast because I've cut out everything unnecessary, and It's run for over a month straight before without problems.  I had to restart because the next batch of Windows updates had come out and I hadn't restarted from that last ones

Why not pay for Xbox Live? It's the only good console online service.

The OS comment means a whole lot coming from a Freespire user.
