Pikachu is much more of a media icon, mostly because of the massive popularity of the Pokemon cards and TV shows, not to mention the generally high quality of the main series of the games. The fact that Nintendo keeps cranking out little s***ty games with Pikachu starring in them also helps.

I had it, but I don't remember the price.

It was when it was new, yes, because it came with the microphone stuff.

Ummm I guess you don't play the pokemon games saying how ALL pokemon games I own are GOOD and NOT a waste of my money:

Early Pokemon games (Blue, Red, and Yellow)
Pokemon: Saphire
Pokemon: Emerald
Pokemon: Diamond
Pokemon: Pearl
Pokemon: Mysterious Dungeon Blue

-Doesn't own but are good or decent (recent ones)-
Pokemon: Dash
Pokemon: Ranger

Then the other pokemon games are good in my book ALL over AT LEAST 7.5 (probably Dash gets lowest rating)

I have Pokemon Red, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Stadium, Stadium 2, Pinball, and Hey You Pikachu. I have a rom of both Leaf Green and Sapphire. The only generation I haven't tried is the newest one, Pearl and Diamond.

I love it at first, but it soon became obvious that the developers really didn't develop a very efficient voice recognition system. Pikachu seems to misinterpret things often. I can give the developers praise for trying, but they didn't try hard enough. Or maybe the technology just wasn't up to it yet. I don't know.
