Background Info
K. Rool is the demented leader of the Kremling Krew, a group of reptilian creatures who live on Donkey Kong Island's neighbor, Crocodile Isle. Over the years since the original Donkey Kong Country, K. Rool has developed a deep hatred against the Kongs.

Initially he just wanted Donkey Kong's banana hoard (which has raised the question among many as to why would crocodiles want bananas to begin with), but his failure to obtain it led him to try and hurt the Kongs directly. King K. Rool also has a tendency to be "down but not out" as seen in Donkey Kong Country (falls as if defeated, even fake credits of the game with the names of Kremlings start to roll then gets back up), Donkey Kong Country 2 (falls several times and gets back up), and Donkey Kong 64 (once the fights are over, he suddenly becomes conscious and tries to take down Chunky Kong).

Another characteristic worth noting is his tail, which seems to often change size (along with his body size). In the SNES games, along with the N64 game, his tail is rather long, but in other appearances it is either short or he simply does not possess one. He also seems to have an eye for Candy Kong, according to Donkey Kong 64, though this has been thus far unsubstantiated.

Inclusion in Brawl
The King of the Kremlings is sure to be a great add to Brawl. But why?

1. King K. Rool's role as a villain is important, and would fit in nicely in Brawl. K. Rool would serve as another villain to face off in the playable character roster.

2. He would fill up the slowly growing Donkey Kong roster in Brawl when it comes to playable characters. K. Rool fits in well, and is deserving to be included.

3. He has a set movelist, being able to utilize all of his skills, weapons, etc. to his advantage throughout all the games he has appeared in.

Common Arguments
Of course, with every popular character, there's always those who are infuriated by the fact of K. Rool's inclusion...

1. Apparently, people think that Donkey and Diddy are enough for the roster. Pshhh!!! Yeah right! A long running series like Donkey Kong deserves another character!

2. People are also sick of the fact of heavy hitting villains. Well, face it, the vast majority of them are heavy hitters...

King K. Rool in Brawl
Well, his weight and girth is the first thing that comes to mind. But since it seems like K. Rool is made up more of muscle than fat, it seems like King K. Rool would be areally powerful fighter.

But, like most heavy weights, the girth will come right back at you. A lot of muscle also comes with a big decrease in speed. Watch as the King desperately tries to keep up with Sonic ;)

Special Moves

B: Crown Toss - This attack is chargeable. Upon release, tilt the control stick to angle the toss. King K. Rool will toss his crown. Once it reaches its furthest point, it will come back to him. Enemies struck by the crown will be repeatedly striked, depending on how fast the crown is spinning. Longer charge ups will result in a gain in spinning speed, distance, and power. The charge is saveable.

Smash B: Blunderbuss Shot - King K. Rool pulls out his Blunderbuss gun and fires forward at an upward angle, a fairly large cannonball. When the ball reaches contact with the ground, it will start rolling around aimlessly, damaging opponents until it dissapears. King K. Rool can only fire again once the cannonball is gone. The cannonball is attackable.

Down B: Cannonball Barrage - This attack is chargeable. When released, King K. Rool will leap up and back onto the ground. After this, cannonballs (amount depends on how long you charged the attack, from 1-5 cannonballs can be sent down) will fall down consecutively onto where King K. Rool is. Once they hit a single piece of terrain or land, they will bounce forward TOWARDS THE SCREEN and plummet to the bottom. Depending on the charge, 1-5 cannonballs may fall. The charge is not saveable.

Up B: Kremling Kopter - King K. Rool straps on his Kremling Kopter (Or whatever the heck it's called) and starts flying. Use the control stick to direct King K. Rool's flight path. The blades on the Kopter can damage opponents.

Final Smash: Abandon Ship - King K. Rool will jump straight up. He will then end up on the other side of the stage. Upon landing, cannonballs will start raining down from the sky consecutively across the whole length of the screen. They act the same way as his Cannonball Barrage. Occasionally, a bigger, spiked cannonball may fall, resulting in massive damage and knockback. King K. Rool will keep jumping back and forth, and stop after a certain amount of time.

Thanks for reading!!

I noticed. It was fairly obvious. And shouldn't you link to your Claus and Black Shadow ones as well?

It seems you are unaware of the fact that I was redoing my analyses because of my recent leaving O_O

Yeah, I think each 'major' series needs a playable villain. K. Rool has been one of my most wanted for a while now. Though, I doubt each 'major' series will get a villain (Star Fox probably won't unless Sakurai comes up with a really unique set for Wolf)

Feel free to add me on MSN!

Ridley

...Friend codes were probably implemented by the same people who wanted tripping in Brawl...
...It's quite obvious...

Awesome job!

Glad you did K. Rool!
He's currently my 5th most wanted character in Brawl.
