well Gears of war is fun, but then you go back and play a classic like Super Mario Bros. and it floods you with that nostalgic feeling and you just have a blast.

The thing that annoys me most about the "kiddiness" is the fact that Snake only uses explosives, since they're more "cartoony."

Ganondorf's lack of an original moveset is the most disappointing.  his B moves are the same, with slightly different animations, except for his side B.

Ness was always in Smash though...

Yeah:  Gameplay always trumps graphics if you're a gamer, but unfortunately, every other person I meet is a moron who says "PS3 ISH BETR KUZ IT HAZ ASUM GRAFIKZ!" or "PSP ISH BETR KUZ IT KAN SERF TEH WEB AND PLAA MUVEEZ AND PLAA MEEYUZIK!"

Seriously guys, if it's graphics you want, GO WATCH TV; IT HAS THE MOST REALISTIC GRAPHICS YOU'LL EVER SEE!  And as for the PSP supporters, most people already have CD players, radios, computers, TVs, or MP3 players, and if you don't have one of those, maybe buying a PSP shouldn't be your first priority...

It's kiddie stuff like this that is driving older-aged new gamers toward the more violent PS3 and XBOX360.  Once they're there, they become brainless "gamers" who think graphics are better than gameplay.  Then one day, Nintendo will be owned by people who where once these gamers, and they will ruin Nintendo by making it more focused on graphics and gore than on fun.
