help with Zelda TP, forgotten heart

so i was kinda rushing through the game, and in the faron woods temple i happen to miss the heart container that you get when you beat the boss, any shortcut to get this? and how do you get the metal shield, my old shield burned up in goron mountain, and i need a new one but i dont want the crappy wood one... thanks anyone

oh, i found the shield, but the problem with going back to get the heart is that the jump is too far to get to the boss area, and the monkeys are all chillen whereever they chill

Go there normally like you did before the first time. You don't have to get it, so unless you want 100%, skip it if you want.

Don't listen to MasterYoungLink he has no idea what he is talking about. Complete the Goron Mines, Complete the Lakebed Temple, go to the area you couldn't get to and use your newly claimed Hookshot to grapple over to the vines on the other side. That way you can get the Heart Container!
