if you don't try to get friends on your list, you won't get any (me).  needless to say, I have friends here, but I just don't care enough about this website to add people to my "friends list".  I see it as being something too exclusive and trivial to be worth my time.

Why do you care? I only add people to my list if I notice that they add me, and otherwise I don't care.

And as for comments, most of my comments are results of me going to someone else's page and commenting on theirs, because they comment back. I really don't care how many comments I have.
