I just got the magic bean from the guy who gives you a free one in the Deku Palace. Now what?

get some spring water from the same grotto that the Magic bean guy is in.
put some in your bottle.

now, go to the deku palace entrance.
go to the right side of the entrance. (Do not go inside of the palce. This is outside of it.)
there is a dirt patch there.

Equip your magic bean and use it on the patch.
Then pour the spring water on it.

It'll turn into a magic bean platform.
Walk on it, and it'll go to the inside of the palace.
put on deku mask, and kill the deku's in the flowers.

use the flower floatation to go to the next flower stations.

Eventually, you'll be inside the throne room.
but you'll be in the monkey's cell.

go talk to him, and learn the new song.
