Why do you think they removed the Earthbound demo?

Of course, it could just be that Nintendo didn't put it in so people wouldn't go crazy, spamming their inboxes with requests for MOTHER 3.  :D

They have a limited library, and many people love those games, as they are classics.

As for the topic at hand, likely translation, and the fact that it isn't on our VC. It only makes sense to wave a product in front of you, if there is a way for you to buy it.
