What if Primid was a playable character?

I hope this wasn't posted before.  If it was, sorry :(

I thought of this one day.  Thinking of how people can switch movesets in Brawl by hacking, along with playing as unplayables in Melee, so, why couldn't someone hack control of a Primid, or better yet, hack it to a character with an actual moveset.  It could have been similar to R.O.B. fitting into the Emissary plot, but R.O.B. deserves his spot, I guess.

Moveset:

  • Special: Fireball like a Fire Primid.
  • Side Special: Weapon.  Use B to attack with it, use the B-side to put it away again.  You can have either a Sword, Scope, or a Boomerang.  Hold B to charge the latter two up.  This sword is a little more powerful than the regular Beam Sword and can be used like a fan if you know what you're doing.
  • Down Special: Temporarily turns metal (like Kirby's down), but he can move.  It lasts about two seconds, generally useful only to make a quick landing, but if timed correctly, you can reflect projectiles (making this move not as useless as it could be)
  • Up Special: Semi-clone of Fox/Falco/Wolf's up special move, except with the Shadow Bugs.  Small chance of forming a SSE enemy.
  • Final Smash: Remember Beedrill from SSB64?  It's like that, except the Shadow Bugs can also form SSE enemies.

Just like Peach/Dedede, alt costumes will have effects on the probability of the weapon drawn from the side special and of certain enemies forming during the special up, and especially on the FS, certain enemies only appearing for certain alt costumes.

Also note, many of the enemies that require multiple hits to defeat can not be created by the Bugs.  Yes, this means no bosses will appear either.  Shaydas, Giant Primid, Metal Primids, and Armites will occasionally appear, but only at FS.  The smaller enemies (common sense says that a small enemy or two will be excluded from creation and FS) will appear at the discretion of the alt color.  Yes, the Poppant will distribute items.

  • Entrance: Shadow Bugs gather and form a Primid.  Jumps to a stance with fists up showing that it's ready for a fight.
  • Up taunt: Double takes a few quick times.
  • Side taunts: Pulls out scope, "play fires", puts it away.
  • Down taunt: Shadow Bugs form a Smash Bros emblem behind the Primid

Alt colors:

  • Fire Primid
  • Sandbag palette
  • Metal Primid, but darker and not shiny
  • Bombed palette
  • Shadow Bug purple
  • Tabuu Blue (no rhyme intended)

Detstar seems to have a screen shot or two of a Giga Bowser and Crazy Hand hack.  So, I thought, maybe this should be possible to hack just one form.  If enough time was put into it, you can possibly combine the different Primids and make an actual working character moveset, like the one above.

Thanks for reading!  Your thoughts NSF?

I just want to play as the bosses. Mainly Meta Ridley. Grab onto the stage and pull it down without actually pulling it down :P
