Well, I'll try to help you out since I care about others.

Don't lose contact with him. That's the first thing you shouldn't do. If you lose connection with them, that could make things so much worse. Then he won't think that anyone will talk to him and will think that more people are cold hearted. That leads me into another thing. Spend time with him. Even though you might not want to, at least try to. Get a group of friends and spend time with him. Last thing but most important, just talk to him about it. Face to face though, can't really see what he's doing over the internet. Hope that kidna helps.
