QuoteKonami is demanding cash compensation, plus an order that would block Viacom and Harmonix from using the inventions, according to the complaint, filed yesterday in federal court in Marshall, Texas. The suit names Harmonix Music Systems, Viacom, and Viacom?s MTV Networks Co., which owns Harmonix.
Wow. I respect Konami and everything for starting rhythm based games, but what the hell? And why did they take so long to do this anyways? Here's the link to the full report: http://www.destructoid.com/konami-sues-harmonix-because-rock-band-is-fun-94647.phtml

Why would they work on a game for a poopload of money when they can get the same amount by suing HMX?

It leaves your moral there? I dunno. The fans would sure like it more if they made a game though! :)
