Apparently Nintendo sees E3 as a chance to show of new ideas, like WiiSports Resort and WiiSpeak. They can always show off their hardcore games at a different conference.

The conference where they show old, popular franchises is E For All and the Media Summit because those are more hands-on events for the gamers and smaller media outlets instead of the giants of media and CEOs.

Their own even is private...the only one that is open is E4All...and thats when they usually do demos rather than announcements X_X;;

They usually announce things at their Media Summit and demo them at E For All.

It's usually like, one game we all expected/half announced at E3...so again it's kinda wahts the point of holding it off?
At least Miyamoto gives us what we want. "We're making Pikmin3" "The Zelda team is trying new things" "I'm not liable to talk about games I'm not producer off" (In response to the Kid Icarus question).
I mean just saying "we're making these games, but we can't show you yet" would've been fine...which is of course my main gripe.

That's what they are doing, they just don't want to tell us.

Why not? They're coming across as uncaring poop holes who couldn't give a rats ass about actaul gamers (and it's become increasingly aware that, it is their real attitude it seems besides Miyamoto). I mean, Iwata and the soccermom said NOTHING, and Reggie dodged the question relentlessly...doesn't that tell you something?

They are either trying to hide something or they really don't care anymore.

I'm guessing the latter. It seems IGN agrees with me on this in their overview of E3 now that it's over. Basically they said if Nintendo wasn't going to bring the games they shouldn't have bothered showing up...MotionPlus, WarioLand, and Conduit where the only things of interest the entire show to them...overything else was bad or no one cared.
