TP was originally going to be for GCN only.

Nintendo hyped it and focused on the Wii version.  In the eyes of Nintendo, that is the "official" version of the game.

So yeah, this is very fake, even if there probably is a new Zelda for Wii being developed this year.

I'm guessing Nintendo wants to launch it with their next console and have a release on the previous one, kind of like with TP.

The Wii has been out for what...2 years now?  It's still too early for there even to be a chance of a new game.  That is if Nintendo even releases a second full Zelda game on the Wii.  Historically, it's usually one per system, minus the N64.

Let's take a look, shall we?

N64: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask.
GB: Link's Awakening, Link's Awakening DX.
GBC: Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons.

It's not a Zelda game, as it's a spin-off of Twilight Princess that has nothing to do with that actual game, story-wise/gameplay wise.

And Twilight Princess on the GCN and Wii has already been mentioned.
