  This board has had a lot of active threads that just die out?
We had two tournament threads that died and no one noticed.
We had a smash bros. ds thread that died suddenly.
And a lot more...


Does any one know why?

Either cause people just want to fight other people here
via the official smash thread or they aren't interested in some of the
"activities" they may go on this board.

Of course thats just My Opinion, there could be a bigger/better reason.

My Preferred Roster thread started out with a decent amount of activity, but it's pretty much dead.  :(

My bet is that no one cases anymore. Before Brawl was released, speculation ran rampant and active threads were a common sight. Now that Brawl's out, there's not as much left to talk about except for challenging others with the FC index. And maybe a little speculation on whether or not there will be Smash 4, but those threads are lacking nowadays.

Board discussion isn't really a help.

There are a few reasons:

For one, the board has moved away from being a discussion board, to a wifi board. We all knew this would happen, it was just a matter of when.

Two, there are many more Smash Communities, big ones that are really established, that people would rather discuss the characters, and what not, about. It isn't our fault, we just can't compete.

Also, the game was indeed a let down for many. I found myself playing Melee more than ever......Brawl, not so much.

It's a number of factors, but, it'll maintain activity for a while....just keep trying.
