Java

I just wanted to see what every one thought about AC:CF

What are your impressions on the latest Animal Crossing game?
What do you hope they will improve? Add? Remove?
What do you think of the new "City" feature and Wi-Fi?

I never added my own thoughts.

I rather like the idea of the City.
I wish you could see other players there, but alas, this is Nintendo.

Anyway, I hope they give you more space for your mailbox and more space for Patterns.

It would also be nice to see a new worker in town (Laundromat? olol) and I'd like to see Pete more often.

There's probably more that I can't remember.

I'm glad they decided to add back the cliffs and the 'real' holidays. The holidays were one of the things I missed most in WW. From what I've seen, they may have also decided to add the basements from the GC version.

I like how they made tools easy to change on-the-go. The new menus and snapshot feature are also pretty nice.

There's plenty I could think of to add, but I mainly want things that add convenience, like being able to tell what an item in Nook's shop is via bubble (so you don't have to click on it and ask Nook or Timmy and Tommy what it is). It'd make it much easier to do carpet and wallpaper shopping.

I don't make patterns often, but I find myself hoping for the ability to edit preexisting shirts and possibly converting them into wallpapers, carpets, etc.

It'd be pretty nice if they brought Animal Island back, but I highly doubt its return...

AS for wi-fi, I plan on using it much more often than I did in WW.

It doesn't come with WiiSpeak...

The game looks fun, I'm glad they decided to let you move over your DS character.
I wish they would have brought back the NES games though...

I think it would be fun if they added more songs, fossils, bugs, fish, etc. That's all I really cared about anyway :P

Java

I have a few questions about the GCN version.
What "real" holidays did they have and what was Animal Island?

@ Cornwad, sadly I don't think they'll be including the NES games with the VC and all.

Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and a bunch of lesser appreciated holidays like Labor Day and Mother's Day when you would get town building models. There were also many other holidays and events like the morning aerobics. Total, I think there were about 30 events, so you were bound to catch many of them.

Animal Island was an island that you could access by connecting your GBA to the GC. You would get there by visiting Kapp'n on the dock. Basically, that was where you go to get coconuts, a tan, and you got your own cabin. A single neighbor lived there secluded from the rest of the village. It's a character that you won't be able to get in your town.

Java

Ahh...It would be great to get all those holidays back.

As for Animal Island, how would they make it work this time around?
Just let you go there anytime you please?

Breezy

Yeah.

And that's the one of the reasons I don't expect it to return (that and Kapp'n already has another job), though I'm sure they could think of some way of re-adding it. The city is enough.

Oh, and something I want them to change is the method of meeting Gulliver. I liked how he washed up in the beach in GC, as opposed to him riding in that stupid UFO.
