What is the best Sonic game in your opinion?

3-D catagory:

Does Sonic Rush count? :D If it doesn't, I would say Sonic 3-D blast!

Sonic Rush is more of a 2.5D game because the characters are 3D and cel-shaded, but the gameplay is a side-scroller.

Some of the enviroment and boss battles put 3-D qualities in it. Like in Sonic's 3rd level/world thing, with the sand slides! He rolls forward for a bit before sliding.

Yeah, but most of the game was 2D-style gameplay, so that's why I said 2.5D.

2D: Sonic3 and Knuckles, 2 games in one, Hyper Sonic, and some pretty fast levels
3D: Sonic Adventure 2: Pretty good story, and the game actually plays well.

2D: it's a tie between Sonic 2 and Sonic 3. ( and Knuckles) They are both so much fun to play.

3D: Sonic adventure 2 hands down. Levels were fun to play.

I wonder when they'll bring back the Chao garden in the 3D games...

2D: Sonic 3 when you combined it with Sonic and Knuckles

3D: Hard to say... I guess Sonic Adventure 2 but even then it wasn't that great...

Favorite ever:  Sonic Adventure 2 Battle.

2D - Sonic 2. Dunno why but i like it more than 3 for some reason.

3D - DEFINITELY SA2B...tha was like my favorite gamecube games, (excluding Melee and Mario Sunshine)
