I'm having a problem with my 360.

When I go to put in any of my discs in the tray, it'll close.
but it won't recognize the disc. It will make funny noises and then it will say "Open tray", instead of "Play Halo 3 or some other game".
I really need help on this.

I want Xbox support to be a last resort thing, so if any of you guy know how to fix this, i would be much obliged.

Try another game. Mine wouldn't read Nuts and Bolts, but it read other games just fine.

That and clean the disc.

Either the game is scratched, or there is something wrong with the DVD reader.  Test more games, and if they don't work, chances are you need to get your Xbox 360 fixed.

It works now.

All I did was remove my Hard drive and put it back on.
And it worked. O_o
