Guitar Hero/Rock Band tournaments?

So, have you have participated in a GH/RB tournament? Did you win? What did you win?
I've only ever been in 2 GH tourneys. I lost the first because the TV wasn't calibrated, and lost my chance to win a 42" plasma HDTV. I raged harder than Dragonforce. Second tourney I won, and I won $100. :)

I've been in some school run ones. Failed miserably, mainly because this one kid plays like he works for Harmonix.

No, aside from a very small one that the gaming club at my school had for the spring festival last year. I'm one of the two exhibition players this year, so I can't win anything. Essentially, whoever wins has the choice of going against either me or the club president and they get an additional prize if they win.

I participated in one at my local GameStop. I wasn't very good at the time. I couldn't beat Jordan yet.

The employee participated in the contest, organized it, and of course, picked the songs he was best at.

I lost, I had to go up against this SUPERHARDCORE 40 year old man who was smoking cigarettes and had a GH Guitar case on his back.

The 40 year old man and the 30 year old employee ended up having a superhardcore showdown.
