I can't explain the question, so I'll answer it instead.
1st time playing: I just play it and try to beat it, no guides, EVUR!
2nd: I use a guide and try to get EVURYTHING there is to get.
3rd: I either do 2 again, or do 4 early.
4th: I play it and try to get EVURYTHING without a guide, I usually miss 3 or 4 things, but I try
5th+: either 2 or 4, depends how I did the previous time.

Take note that the time between one and the other is far apart, sometimes years apart, sometimes just a couple of months.

Now how do YOU play? O0

Dude .

Super

I play the game until I get bored of it. Months later, I go back and beat it.

Then I never play it again.

Captain Justice

one player games I try and beat it as fast as I can w.out a guide. After that then I'll use a guide to go complete it 100% (if I feel like it).

Yesterday, sort of. I was on the verge of crying. Why? I got into an argument with a couple other people from #nsider and it got me really upset. I didn't really cry much though

Can we ban Hoss, please?

SkyMyl

1: Play through the game normally.
2: After beating it, try to find every upgrade, hidden weapon, secret, hidden/best ending, bonus dungeon/bonus boss, and beat it again.
3: Come back a while later and play it again.
4: Self Imposed Challenge
5: Play the harder difficulty...maybe.

So yeah.

Someguy13

One run normal and one run 100% no guides.

the only exception to this rule is the oracle zelda games i had ages and my friend had seasons. Every time we beat one we would switch. Each of us have beaten each game 16 times.

We've beaten them with all 3 partners, started the password linked game on both games, gotten every item, done all the passwords, gotten all the hart containers, gotten all the rings, talked to every person at least once, beaten the Hero's Cave, and beaten every mini-game wining every prize (yes that means purposely failing in order to win the consolation prize)

That's like 100+% completion.

Custom

Depends on the game. Shitty games I'll never touch again, good games I'll keep playing.

Good job! I, Viewtifulboy, declare you the CHAMPION!

I'm the official winner of the Viewtiful Victory roleplay championship!

Lotos

Use a guide so I get everything :-X :-[

Wabba

Play through once and never touch the game again. Most of the times I dont even 100% games.

Doodle

Most of the time I don't replay a game.
But if it has multiplayer I'll keep playing then.
YEAH

jnfs2014

Step 1: Buy the game and sometimes the guide (depending on the games).

Step 2: Go immediately home and play it for 5-7 hours straight.

Step 3: Continue playing until I beat it. Takes 2 days-8 days, depending on the game and if I have school.

Step 4: Put down the game and not pick it up for two months.

Step 5: If it's quality, I'll play it again.

Eizweir

1. Start playing it regularly, maybe an hour or two everyday
2. get stuck at some boss or dungeon
3. don't play it for months on end
4. decide to finally play it again and either
a) get pass what I'm stuck at and start playing regularly again
b) can't figure it out and drop it and don't touch it until I feel like looking up how to get passed wherever I'm at.
5. start another game file on a different difficulty or something, then get bored and never touch it again.
