I imagine, judging from Obama's campaign, more liberal-leaning people would tend to get their news from the Internet, so it makes a sort of sense. And then there are all the people watching Fox for the... lulz.

Fox has the highest rating simply because they hired a bunch of bat poop crazy people and gave them their own shows. So Palin fits right in with the Fox "commentary" lineup.
