PS3 RPG's

Well, I'm getting Valkyria Chronicles sometime later this week and already have Final Fantasy 7 via Playstation Network along with possibly getting FF:XIII, but in the meantime, I'd like some future suggestions for other PS3 RPG's. Yes; PS1 suggestions and PSN Are allowed. No; I don't have any other RPG's on my PS3 already asides from those.

So yeah, for all you PS3 Owners, help this RPG Addict get even more weed RPG's.

And not much of an RPG from what I've seen, but Demon's Soul. It will make you cry.

The PS3 doesn't have much as far as RPGs go. Disgaea 3 is the only one that really stands out in my mind aside from those mentioned already.

Final Fantasy VIII is on the PSN now actually.

I came with bricks. Off to check how much MB It is to see If I can shove it on my PSP As well.

Now we just need Final Fantasy IX on there.

Folklore is an Action RPG thing
Tales of Vesperia, if they decide to port it.
FF XIV, if you like MMOs.
Dragon Age Origins

That's kind of it, actually. Unless you have a PS3 with PS2 compatibility, there's not much in the way of RPGs for now.

Oblivion

I'd recommend getting Oblivion on Steam; it's a very buggy game and Bethesda doesn't give a poop about providing patch support. Lots of people have developed unofficial patches and fixes for the PC version. You'll also miss out on all of the unofficial mods if you get the console version, some of which are quite awesome

He's got a very good point. It's on the PS3 but go for the PC model.

It's being ported in Japan, not sure if they're bringing the port to NA or Europe though.

I can NOT believe it took you guys so long to mention Disgaea 3! It'd be first on my list of PS3 rpgs. It's a MUST OWN title imo.

I'm also probably going to get White Knight Chronicles. It's coming out in like a week I think. Has some pretty good reviews. Check it out!


I've been told sacred 2 is good, and similar to Diablo 2. Also was told Dragon Origin(s?) was good. I opted not to buy either, and to hold out for White Knight Chronicles.

I mentioned it in my first post in the thread, which was the third post. Or do you mean that it took someone forever to post in the thread, mentioning it? Either way, I agree with you. I don't have a PS3 but I stayed at my brothers house for a while just to play that game, Metal Gear Solid 4 too, but primarily Disgaea 3. Great game.
