I support this idea. It wouldn't have all features, but there could be a lot of potential (maybe even adding some nice features to Brawl as well).

One for each nintendo console; Will probably stay that way. I'm pretty sure the series is here to stay as well - I just hope If by any chance it gets a new director that it's one that sticks well.

Through I wouldn't mind Smash DS If it didn't affect the main games. I think it'd be better on the DS2 by far as I'd rather take a pretty good Port/Game over a game that lost a lot due to lack of storage.

c) some graphics wouldn't hurt

Be careful what you wish for. This generation already ends up taking a while when it comes to graphics and Ninty makes that even longer - I'd rather not have much focus on that but some games were a super disappointment to that.
