Mega Man Series Thread

Let's discuss Mega Man and his awesomeness here.
Discuss your favorite of each series, classic, X, Zero, etc.

I am a big fan of Mega Man, especially the X series, but I don't know too much about Mega Man at all, so I won't be much discussion here, except about Mega Man X 1-6.

Will however get the MM gamecube collection prolly this summer.

I enjoy most of the Mega Man games, although the one with the battles taking place on the 3X3 squares is really stupid, IMO

Hey, Classics and X fan here. Beaten all the classics and all the X games.

Also, Mega Man X6 was the game of lost potential.

The only series I don't like is the Star Force series.

The main Mega Man continuum(Classic, X, Zero, ZX) is my favorite and out of those 4 I like the X series the most.

X6 and X7 are definitely the worst of the X series. X8 was a breath of fresh air though. It didn't revolutionize the series or anything but it was basically Capcom's apology for how awful X7 was.

@TK: Get the PS2 version. The Gamecube version switches the control scheme and it's just intercourse ing weird. You can't change it either. Get the X Collection while you're at it.
