Mega man 2! The new mega man 9 is alright but the difficulty is pretty up there.
I think I actually like the difficulty.

So are the other Mega Man games easier than 9?

2 is easier, if only because of the Metal Blades. But the levels are designed better I think. Parts of 9 are just trying to get the nostalgia factor (like Splashwoman's stage...the bubble part totally wasn't Dive Man)

Tsumaru

Mega Man 2, the only one I will ever be able to finish.

9's difficulty comes partially from it's traps (The robot cranes that drag you into spikes) and it's actual platforming. (Splashwoman) Once you know what the traps are, it's not that hard.

I personally think 5 is the hardest, followed by 4.

I'v played them all exept maybe 1-2
But I always loved Megaman Legends. The lego people and the gameplay was just awesome x3.
Plus it being the first 3-D Platform for that game :3

Titus Andronicus

as easy as it is, i love megaman 7

it was the first snes megaman, and although ive never beaten it, i love playing through it til i get to the final wily part (and then losing miserable ;_;)
Tramps like us, baby we were born to die.

Thirdkoopa

2 because It's the only one I've beaten.

3 of my friends smoke weed. Why? Well I asked one time, and this is what they said: "Because I can blow out smoke and it makes me feel like a intercourse ing dragon"

Zero

The first X game

Though the first Zero game comes pretty close, as does Mega Man 3 and 8.

People ninny about 8 for reasons I don't get at all. The graphics are great, the music is great, the level design isn't as good as 2's but its still great. It's challenging but doesn't bend you over too. Really the only thing that sucks about it is the crappy voice acting. And from that we got the hilarious instances where Dr. Light pronounces "Dr.Wily", "Dawcter Wiwey". It's judged poorly, I believe. For some reason, Mega Man fans hold onto the first 3 of each series aside from Star Force and claim they're amazing and the rest suck. I don't get it. The only Mega Man games aside from the Star Force series I think are bad are Mega Man X7 and Mega Man Soccer, if you count that game.

Coolguy11

Megaman Battle Network 2. I found this game on the bus when I was a kid, and started playing it. I enjoyed it a lot. That is how I got introduced to Megaman. :D

Suzune

I loved MM2 and its still my favorite.

Dorgannn

Mega Man III, I liked the music more than two.

I would say MM2, but just to be different I'm going to go with MM9. For me MM9 took all the greatest aspects of the classic Mega Man series (most of which were from MM2, admittedly) and put them together beautifully. Then MM10 came out and I lost respect for Capcom again. I mean, Sheep Man is bad enough, but Pump Man? PUMP MAN? His taunt position is pumping his head! Good grief. I have a bone to pick with Strike Man and his stage, too.

Sorry, small rant. Won't happen again.

Anyway I'd say MM7 is up there too. I really like the graphical improvements, and the music in that game is some of my favorite overall. In fact I'm listening to Burst Man's theme on loop while posting here.

Mega Man 7: Wily's Fortress Stage 1. The theme is probably one of my favorite Mega Man pieces of music if not my favorite. Burst Man is up there too. The game had fantastic music, and it, along with MM8 are two of the overlooked games in the series, sadly.
