Before I picked up my acekard and became obsessed with it, I was doing my umpeenth playthrough of the original game, overgrinding as much as I could. I had everyone's level 3 limits before I reached the Temple of the Ancients. I even had Aeris and Red XIII's fourth limits, and getting Aeris's was something I've never bothered to do before.

Well, in the process of getting Aeris's, I forgot to save, and we had a power outage or something. I don't remember why my game went out.

I haven't picked it back up since.

Another official main FF thread? That's good. We needed one because we keep getting ones on every different game. I'm working on my tier list for all the main FF games + Tactics series minus XIII.

As for VII I played it a few months ago during parts of a trip and on the plane ride; Shit was still awesome. I had Cid and Red XIII as my party. I later switched to Vincent and Red XIII, who in my opinion, are the best characters in the game, even though Vincent has little backstory in VII.

For sure not my favorite FF and general speaking probably not the best FF but it's easily one of the best in the series.

Cid is my favorite character of the game overall, and his musical theme is brilliant.

Up until I get Cid, my party is Cloud, Barrett, Tifa. When I get Cid, it switches to him, Cloud, and Tifa.

I still have yet to play VII, actually. I'm romping through the internet frantically to find the whole package, and not just the three discs or the case with nothing but the instruction booklet.

Bumping this for discussion.

I turned it back on two nights ago and remembered where I was, and retrained Aeris. So, she's at Great Gospel, and I'm working on Red XIII's Cosmo Memory now, since he's the only other person I have a final limit for. I want to do Cloud's Omnislash, but I don't have enough GP to keep playing the battle square for the battle points.

Cloud is level 40 by now. Cloud, Tifa, and Barrett all have maxed out limit breaks up to and including level 3. Aeris and Cait Sith are both at their highest limit levels. I haven't even gone to the Temple of Ancients yet. Am I overleveling?
