Puzzle and RPG in one package? :O

So, being too cheap to buy the full game at the moment, I downloaded the 360 demo.
Epic win, yay. The battle system is ingenius, however fairly punishing. You essentially take turns moving Mana (Circles) and Skulls around, attempting to get three in the row ala other puzzle games. Anything upward and including Four in a row gets you a second turn.

In order to spice it up a bit, when you match mana, you get MP. You can then use it to cast spells, or use various effects. Also, you can match Gold to obtain gold when you win, and the purple 'gems' are EXP points, which do the same thing. The basic attack is lining up three skulls, which does a certain amount of damage to your opponent. As in nearly all RPGs, you try to cause your opponent to lose all of their HP. In addition, the glowing skulls do +5 more damage, and explodes nearby gems.

So yes, play it. Demo is be on the internets, if you're too cheap.

Exactly.
Although that DS version is overpriced.
