I'm using XP, but I've been thinking about installing Linux on it, but I'm worried if I don't like it that I can't switch back to windows without having to reinstall.

Download Wubi and use that to Install Ubuntu, it doesn't intercourse  with partitions, and if you want to uninstall it you just boot into Windows, go to Add/Remove and uninstall it as if it were any other program.



Sure, it's not a real installation, but it works fine.

Windows XP, and no, I'm not content with it. I'd much rather be using OS X. I want a Macbook, but it'll probably be a long time before I can get one.

I'm running XP on this machine.

I've heard to many bad things to upgrade to vista, even though my dad already has.
