This is my problem with Brawl that may make it terrible.

Too much stuff, too much unnecessary stuff, is being added to it. It doesn't sound like it would blend in well, it sounds like unneeded button mashing. I don't think things like a final smash is necessary.

There is my three and a half cents.

Final Smashes make it more fun. Its always fun to be down by 5 lives, then end up winning because of items ;D
And if you don't like it, turn it off  >:(

And this is why items are turned off in tourneys. :D

Meh, some of the items in Brawl just look broken beyond belief. Like the cracker launcher's ability to combo people off the top of stages and the Super Spicy Curry just being... Ridiculous...

Exactly, when you want it to be a match of pure skill, you turn off the unnecessary stuff. But sometimes, unnecessary things can be fun. Better have them in there and optional then not in there at all :O

yeah, this is what I've been worried about too.  too much adding on stuff, not enough improving on the last game.

Well, atleast they're balancing the game... But what I really wanted was a game more technical and fast paced than Melee, but it seems like the speed is significantly toned down. People fall a TON slower, you automatically sweet spot the ledge, no wavedashing, weird new L cancels, etc...

Why do you always have some giant answer??!?
...Friend codes were probably implemented by the same people who wanted tripping in Brawl...
...It's quite obvious...

Because I have no life.

No, I just feel it necessary to back up my claims with ample amounts of examples and what not. <___<

I will go with (A) Bob

That's nice, pointing out the obvious. But I could easily have no life and throw out random unsupported claims like everyone else. Therefore it's both.

I hope Sakurai's putting equal attention to the characters as he is with the new game modes.  I want a big roster this time.  Melee's roster was too small, I want Brawl to be atleast twice melee's roster.  Sakurai doubled the 64's roster in melee to 25.  He can do it again especially since they've been working on the game for almost three years.
Friend Code: 2622-1690-4267  Finally have wifi

Nintendude92

I sorta thought that, but they seem to be amping replay value. A dream cone true, even when compared to SSBM. /:

I'm kinda happy those techniques aren't coming back. So I assume from the videos..
