HELP HELP! srsly, plz halp

K, so im using my dad's desktop computer. im his computer doesnt have an SD card slot, but his monitor does. to be exact, here is the same monitor he has:

you cant see it, but on the left hand side, it has a media center. i inserted my SD card, but it doesnt sow up in My Computer. plz tell me how to make this work :( and reason for not using my desktop for this? im doing a system backup. i r backing up files to another hard drive :P

see that? that entire media station isnt detecting squat :|

Go to our hardware store buy a hammar and hit it good 6 times. Problem fixed

Maybe there a CD that came with your card ? Maybe the port is broken ? The hammer is sure to work because Dell will give you a new screen :T

I don't know any surefire way to make stuff detect anything.
