Is Black Friday only on Friday?

Or is it on Saturday, too? I know it sounds like a stupid question, but I think I remember that some stores still had it last year... Does anyone know?

I think whether a store carries the Black Friday sales depends on the store itself.

I've seen both happen, but the day is on a Friday.
