Story:

You are escorted by two guards to a damp, dark dungeon. You are thrown into said room, and forced to sit on the ground until a signal is given. An odd door appears, the signal. You walk to the door and open it. It is a much lighter room, brightly lit by flames. Looking to the front of you, you see two doors, one red, and one blue. You see two computers to the right of you, both Dell Inspirons, one red, and one, obviously blue. Not knowing what to do, you look around. You then spy a note on the floor.

It reads: "You only have one chance to get out of this place. Up ahead are two doors. One will lead you out of the castle. But another one will send you back to the dungeon, and the door which lead you to this room will not appear again. To your right are two computers, one tells the truth and the other lies. You can only ask one computer at a time, otherwise it will not comprehend what you say. You may only ask three questions, not three to each computer, but three. There is only one true answer, but only if you ask the right question! Good luck. -Anonymous"

To answer the question, fill out this form. You can write what computer you ask, but that isn't necessary.

the 3 questions makes it tough.

but, in one question:

"If i asked the other computer which door to take, what would it say?" then you take the opposite door, the one the computer did not say.

Explanation:

Say the Blue door is correct...

You ask the truth telling compter. It knows that the other computer would lie and say "Red." so thats what the computer would say. So, you take the other door. blue.

But, say you ask the lying computer. It knows the other computer would tell the truth and say "blue." So it lies and says "red." you take the other door, which is blue.

i'll try to work that into 3 questions, no guarantees though.

*oh yeah, i know that because its the answer to one of the hardest brain teasers i have saved.
I really hate how I've made more than 12,000 posts here. Thankfully this swaying, moving Chandelure makes it all worth it.

DARNIT! [insert cursing rant here] You got it... I'll get you a prize soon... that was the answer, but you don't need to work it into three questions...
