I'm using my sister's guitar (which sucks) at the moment until I get a guitar of my own, hopefully a Epiphone Les Paul, cuz Gibsons are expensive.

I've gotten to the point where I can work out songs on my own to the point where they sound ok, but it's mainly all riffs, nothing huge. In short, I suck at it at the moment.

Matter of opinion. In terms of hardware, the Les Paul is one of the best. What matters more is the sound you want out of your guitar.

i know but compared to the others i just dont like them, in fact i almost bought an esp ec-50 (i know its not a gibson) but saw some other esp's that i liked alot more, but i got the damien instead
