I love Apple, but...

There's a few products that just make me want to kill myself.

Mighty Mouse
It's fine for a regular mouse for regular tasks like word processing or internet, etc, but the one-button-that's-really-two-buttons and the scroll ball that doesn't have notches completely fails for gaming. I realise that there's not a lot of gaming to be done on a Mac, which is fine, but when I boot to Windows for some HL2: Deathmatch or Battle for Middle Earth action, I need a mouse with a gosh darn unidirectional and notched scroll wheel. I have to admit, though, the pressure sensitive side buttons are a nice feature.

iMovie '08
WHAT THE FUCK WERE THEY THINKING? I thought they were all about doing the most you can with your media in the simplest manner possible. With iMovie '08 they just added complicated features, and COMPLETELY REMOVED the Video Effects panel, as well as a lot of customization options for things like transitions and titles. This should have been an add-on to Quicktime, not a new version of iMovie.

Safari 2
Ugh. I could hardly stand it. It was somewhat slow, and crashed all the time. Lacked a lot of features that FireFox 2 had, but FireFox is even slower on Macs than Safari 2 is. At least the final release of Safari 3 in Leopard is the best browser experience I've ever had.

I agree with the Mighty Mouse. When I use Macs, it bugs me when the scrollball breaks, and I have to scroll up but drag the sidebar down. =/

Oh, yeah I forgot to mention that. The stupid scroll ball lasts about a month, and after that you either have to sit there and work the stuff out of it for 5 minutes every time you use it, or completely dismantle it.

I'd love apple if I owned a product of theirs right now, but they are too darn expensive.

I hate Microsoft. And I hate Macs.

My best friend uses a mac laptop, and the touchpad is intercourse ing annoying. Now I know most of you hate all touchpads, but I usually use the touchpad on my laptop (My only mouse isn't working oddly, but being without mouses makes you develop good touchpad skillz). His touchpad is so lame, the pointer moves slow, and to scroll down you have to use two fingers on it, and it's still hard to control.

The keyboard I hate too. The keys are really spread out and I can't type jack on it.

Macs are just pains in the asses. Steve Jobs is an arrogant prick who thinks he's so darn innovative. iPhone sucks ass.

Haha.

Well, firstly, the cursor moving slowly is an adjustable preference.

You're actually the first person I've heard complain about the two-finger scrolling. I absolutely love it... whenever I use a trackpad on a PC, I get extremely frustrated when I can't do it.

As for MacBooks, yeah, I hate the keyboards to. I do like my MacBook Pro's keys, though, as far as laptops go. I prefer deep clacky keys to anything.

Jobs isn't an arrogant prick -- he knows darn well that a lot of stuff by Apple isn't that innovative; he's just an extraordinary speaker and marketing mastermind. Welcome to business.

'Kay, this has promoted me to ask the question, how the hell do you do a right click on a Mighty Mouse? I've been to the Apple store by me several times and I've never figured out how to do it. |:

Also the scrolling on the Mighty Mouse sounds awful.

And one last thing, is the keyboard that annoying on the Mac Books?
