I have no idea what could be wrong.

jnfs2014

throw it away and blame yourself for letting it get scratc.hed

Kingmush

Congratulate yourself for being crappy towards your games...

Here, I'll start you off.

Congrats! You suck at taking care of games! :)

That make you feel better?

Lot's of good, helpful suggestions, there, lol...I'm willing to assume that you borrowed it from someone else or bought it used in good faith that it was in good shape...Try some disc fix stuff - they sell it on Gamestop, & you can probably find it at WalMart, too.  You can't possibly hurt it any worse. I know some people use a yellow highliter on music cd's, but I think I'd rather use the other, personally. Hope that helps :)

Throw a fit and ask your mom for a new game.

clean it (PROPERLY!) and if it doesn't work afterwards, then sell it to EBgames. :P

first thing to do with a game that's scratched is to clean it, so that you know that it's broken because of the scratches.  my copy of SSBM is so terribly scratched, but since it's not dirty, it's perfectly fine.

you should see my friend's halo 2 disk.  the xbox completely mutilated it and now it doesn't work at all.

You can't repair scratches. You CAN clean discs with water, cleaner, and the stuff you drink from under the sink.

That's me. :D ^

Also, join the Steam Nsider group for maximum fun.

disc cleaner

you could use tooth paste then rinse well and dry.

GALEX

How'd that happen?   :-\

Anyway, you can buy Disk Skip or something like that at Game Stop or Target or what-not.

yes.derek

Try covering it with peanut butter and then rinsing it off with a rag.

It worked for my rented  copy of Anchorman, and it tastes alot better than toothpaste if you get it on your hands, which you invariably will.

I really hate how I've made more than 12,000 posts here. Thankfully this swaying, moving Chandelure makes it all worth it.

lick it. ;)
Don't tell him that. Come a week from now, the news will be littered with lawsuits dealing with tough and game disk related injuries...
