My solution: If your computer is alright, download the freeware Frets On Fire, learn how to mod it and add all the Guitar Hero 1, 2, AND 3 songs on it, get a ps2 to usb adapter (shouldn't be much), plug it in, IDK if it will work (it does for the 360), but if it doesn't register as a controller, I'm pretty sure it would, just search for 3rd party software.

So, basically you would have a freeware (it's good, minus star power and whammy bar) of guitar hero, a lot of people like Frets On Fire, and you can get ALL the guitar hero songs and more, but the songs are exactly the same, same notes and everything.

Or you can get the ps2 to usb adapter, a torrent downloading program, and find the guitar hero III torrent, learn how to emulate drives/mount images, or just burn the images (.iso)s, and you'll need a pretty good computer for this option, then play Guitar Hero III for pc. idk how u get online, but likely there is a way, but it's not guitar hero II

I recommend the Frets On Fire one. If you can't get your guitar as a controller, then you can always use your keyboard, or pay some money for a 360/PC guitar hero guitar controller.

No offense, but that looks way too complicated for me to do. Thanks for trying, though :)

It's not so hard, it's exactly what I done when my 360 died of RRoD (it came back today YAAAAAAY)
