If you had to have a unique "citizenship" ID to it that you had to input to use it?

I don't know how much longer the Internet will continue to exist largely still lawless and anonymous, since more and more of it is becoming directly tied to real-world investments, interests, and properties.  Perhaps the continued uncontrolled growth of the Internet is going to cause a retooling of the system sanctioned by the government(s) to have more controlled information flow and access.  IP's in the future will probably become directly tied to your own physical being instead of your point of access.

Does that make you afraid or no?

No porn for those poor kids.

Hehehe yeah.  I guess that'll be one of the places that will really change.

The thing is though, the internet is not confined to a single country.  A nation can't regulate something that is worldwide.

Computers are a fad. In the inevitable years, they will be replaced by the classic pencil and stone........or was it graphite and paper? I forget.

Yes, but networks can be created, destroyed, and regulated.  One nation can start the standard that others will follow.

:'(

I'd only use the internet if I'm researching for school or something.

Regulated?
Somebody would start something new.

wutta idiot faggot are you, no?

why do you think the cultofdeadcow has it in for china?

in almost every country, everything that comes through the internet into their country is screened and can be blocked from the entire country (that's a very rough and inacurate way of saying it)

why do you think there aren't any lolita sites in the U.S.? cuz it's ilegel and the U.S. blocks them. (once again a terrible, overlysimple, badly worded, way of saying it)

And thousands upon thousands of people get around these blocks on a daily basis.  They may exist, but people still get around them.  The internet has far too many variables involved to ever be able to have complete control over it.

Also, please go back to English class darling, you sound like a retarded eight year old.

I can easily access such content, it's not difficult at all.
