I have the Halo 3 one. It is really cool. It also keeps cool for long periods of time. Also, the green controller and headset are really nifty. =P

The normal one is less gay than the special edition one if you ask me. Green and gold just looks like crap. I saw a fan-made Halo 3 case and it looked great...but the official one blows. Straight white or black are the best colors, IMO. Also, it makes more sense to buy the Elite one since the hard drive is 5 times larger...but that's just me. If you'd rather compromise practicality for "ooh, green!" then be my guest.  ;)

Besides, games like Halo 3 and Halo wars (among other games) wont be out for the computer for a long time, or at all.
