can someone help me wtih this?

its a problem in my A1 book and i can't figure it out (I have to figure out how many glasses equal one bottle). I don't want the answer i just want help figuing out the method

excuse the bad pic my camera didn't have enough juice for flash so i had to hold it under my light with one hand and take the pic


im guessing something like: b+g=p
                                               b=g+e
                                     p2=e3
                                               b=x

b=bottle
g=glass
e=plate
p=pitcher
x=g?

all i know is that one pitcher is 1.5 plates so can someone help me?
