Will nintendo make a external HDD for Wii?

i dunno i kinda figured an Sd was sufficient. i got one and it seems to work fine for me.
Edit: After reading the article i can see how retro junkies might be stressed.

My free memory is running dry, i had like 2000 blocks and i have like 700 now...i need some extra memory! SD cards dont work like I would have hoped...

the Wii can't read stuff on the SD card you have to move stuff from Wii to the card and vice versa which can be annoying, so I hope it gets a HDD

I think the Nintendo should make a HDD with the blue glow ;D

I don't really need one, but it'd be nice just so i'd never run out of space.

I'm getting close to filling up my space...  I think I have about 600 blocks left, and we haven't even gotten the WiiWare games yet.  I know for a fact I want Dr. Mario, and my son will probbaly want that Pokemon one...  And there are still quite a few VC games I'd like to get (especially if certain titles show up in the future).

I doubt I'll be deleting and re-downloading...  My internet isn't all that great here.  And constantly moving from Wii to SD/SD to Wii is annoying.

I really hope that SOMETHING gets done, though, I'm not holding my breath or anything.  Nintendo has said that they don't see the need for any kind of extra storage.
