I hope I can participate in a tournament, but it depends what time it starts. I have Brawl reserved so theres no point in camping out, so I hope it doesn't start then. I have a pretty high chance of winning. Still, my chances are slim. My mom stayed out to get my Wii in freezing weather, and I've got a feeling she's not staying out for anything game related ever again. :P And I forgot to fully pay it off...I still have $45 left on it. :O If I can't go I'll do 64 tournament in Melee and win, just to play it one last time for a looong time.

I don't get why people find midnight releases pointless if they have the game reserved. I don't go to midnight releases to make sure I get a copy. I go to them to get the game sooner, so I can play it more.

It takes so LONG to get it at a midnight release and you won't get to play it THAT much more. You have to get up early and go to school or work, and you'll be extremely tired. Of course I do want to go to the midnight release...

Yea, it seemed like only yesterday that we were anticipating the release of online compatibility conformation on Brawl.

I'll be at my local Gamestop at around 8 P.M. as there is going to be a Melee tournament. Winner gets a free copy of Brawl. I hope I win. 8)

Game stores usually open at 10 (or 11 on sundays at some stores). Not to mention, this is on the weekend, so no school (sorry for the people with work). You should also not be going to the midnight release in the first place if you are going to be tired.

11 extra hours to play? Sounds good with me. I'll have unlocked pretty much all the characters by the time you guys who aren't going are getting up.
